Career Development
Many parents wonder how they can help their teen explore and decide upon a career. You also might wonder how this is included in Manitoba's education system. Career development is a process that helps people learn the right knowledge, skills, attitudes, and behaviours that will help them make good choices about school, training, and work. It is important that you support your teen's career development process. Career exploration can seem intimidating to teens, but there are lots of resources that can help. By showing confidence and curiosity in your teen's interests and choices, you will help him or her to explore the path that leads to success.
